I’m not sure who got in contact with who first, although I think it was a response by Jason of Ardeth Backpacking Gear to a post I made “Inspired to do a Thru Hike” back near the beginning of June. In that post, I lamented on the inability to be able to take enough time off to do a thru hike of the AT (or any other trail) because of the demands of running a small business such as GreenPackin’. Sometimes it’s difficult to be able to get away for a couple of days to escape into the wilderness. Often, I have to settle for one night away and that will satisfy me….for a bit. Jason of Ardeth Backpacking Gear agreed with me about how difficult it is to get away.
Anyways, after I was contacted by Jason, I took a look at his site and liked what I saw. Ardeth Backpacking Gear produces sleeping bags, quilts and other outdoor products that are environmentally friendly. Visit their Facebook page, take a look at what they are about and have to offer. Contact Jason and see what they can do for you.
