Mail Drops accepted and delivered  The following prices are for 8am – 9pm delivery – earlier or later add $15 per hour (Clingman’s Dome – $60 or $57 cash price for storage of package and delivery, Newfound Gap – $42 or $40 cash price for storage of package and delivery, Davenport Gap – $66 or $63 cash price for storage of package and delivery). Shuttle services available (We cover the AT from Damascus to Springer)

Drop Fees – There are no drop fess. Shuttle services are available. Located 1/2 mile from the Appalachian Trail and 1 & 1/2 miles north  of Allen’s Gap. Lodge, pavilion, campsites & rustic tent sites .

Drop Fees – No charge for guests all others must pay $5 per package. Black Bear Resort has a bunk house ($15 bunk, heated if necessary) plus towel/free shower, one and three bedroom cottages, and tent sites. A camp store that sells resupply, cold drinks, variety of microwave sandwiches, ice cream, canister fuel, alcohol/camp fuel, and many other items. Lounge room with refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, computer/internet access, TV/DVD player, DVD movies for free use, and games / Laundry ($3.50 or $4.50 if detergent is needed)/ Shuttle services available. Free parking for hikers if staying at the Black Bear ($2 per night if not staying).

The Hiker’s Cabin provides a convenient spot for a great night’s sleep out of the weather and is available as a hostel during peak hiking season to accommodate Appalachian Trail hikers. Sleeps 8, wood burning stove, refrigerator, stove, shower & linens.
